Remy & William | Spring Butterfly Pavilion Wedding in Acworth, GA

Remy and William had a sweet spring wedding at the Butterfly Pavilion in Acworth last weekend! It was achill pretty spring day with sage green accents, paper cranes, plenty of sunshine, and lots of heartfelt moments.

Remy and William started off as friends for 4 years before they actually started dating. They celebrated their wedding at the pretty Butterfly Pavilion in Acworth. We started the day with some pretty details shots and getting ready photos with the ladies. Each of the bridesmaids wore a monogrammed pullover, a gift from the bride and a unique spin on the matching outfit trend. Remy is half Japanese, so she incorporated her heritage in lots of small details, like a kimono for getting ready, paper crane accents on reception tables and signage, and the San San Kudo sake wedding ceremony, representing unity. I loved that Remy’s wedding dress lace was embroidered with motifs that nearly matched her ginkgo leaf tattoo on her arm.

During their first look, the bride and groom shared private vows with each other, which resulted in tears from all present (me included). They also exchanged gifts and we did a few of their portraits and family photos prior to the ceremony. Did you see the cute otter socks??

Their wedding reception was beautiful and elegant – normally I’m not a “direct sun on table settings” girl, but the light was just delicious and made for the prettiest detail shots. I love how they incorporated their pup into their cocktail napkins too. The bride’s father decorated the Publix cake and made the groom’s cheesecake from scratch and it was delicious! They catered their food from Endive Catering, where the bride had worked as a teenager. Another neat feature of their reception was their make-your-own trail mix bar as a favor for guests.

Remy changed into a super cute white jumpsuit from Abercrombie for the dance floor, which their DJ Alec with Rosser Productions kept energized the entire night. Also, shoutout to Remy for the best garter toss alternative I’ve ever seen – a game of single men musical chairs. After a private last dance and a bubble exit, Remy and William made their happy getaway. I am so grateful for the awesome couples that trust me with their wedding photos and precious memories. Congrats Remy and William!!
