Elizabeth and Eric’s beautiful early fall wedding at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church and St Ives Country Club was a breathtaking, joyful day! These two met at a retreat where Eric was an attendant and Elizabeth was leading worship. Their first date was 14 hours long!! Two years later, after long distance and lots of Facetime, they tied the knot during a beautiful wedding Mass in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
They wanted their October wedding to be simple and elegant with sea glass and blueish accents. Their decor was classic, with white ranunculus and roses, sea glass colored bridesmaids dresses, white linens and gold accents in the beautiful reception space at St Ives, the Johns Creek country club that the bride and her family grew up going to. Excitement and joyful anticipation filled every moment, and teary kisses and laughter were abundant during the morning. The couple shared a beautiful and intimate first prayer moment behind St. Jude’s, where they giggled and wept their way through a decade of the rosary. The wedding Mass was beautiful, with the incense illuminating the light in the church to look like the actual light of the Lord Himself blessing this sweet couple. They had a strong attendance of priests, deacons, and seminarians at their Mass, and some beautiful music played by Ricky Vazquez. Thanks to the smooth coordination of Fully Present Catholic Weddings, the day went off without a hitch!
St Ives was the perfect space for these two and all their guests to dance the night away. Nearly everyone was on the dance floor at some point! Elizabeth and Eric broke it down nearly all night, with Elizabeth even breaking out some karaoke skills to sing a ballad to her new husband. We even got to sneak out of the reception for some sunset photos, which turned quickly into an intense putt-putt match between the newlyweds. With a private last dance and a fun sparkler exit, the night was absolute hit! I am so grateful for the awesome couples that trust me with their wedding photos and precious memories. Congrats Elizabeth and Eric!
