Late winter engagement sessions are stunning.

I've had the joy of knowing Suzie since my junior year of college at the University of Georgia, and she is just one of the kindest and gentlest people you will ever meet! Her and Jake have a wonderful, playful relationship and this engagement session out in Eastside Athens was so much fun.

Suzie and Jake have a deep love for all things botanical and floral, so they wanted to do their engagement session in an ecologically sensitive area where red algae would hopefully be blooming. I'm all for cool spots off the side of the road, so of course I said yes. This spot did not disappoint, besides the fact that the red algae was not actually blooming. I blame the late cold front for that one!

These two were easygoing and oh so in love which is just the perfect combination for an engagement session! They met at the Catholic Center at UGA during one of the Service Days that the CC puts on during the year and it was history from there. Jake proposed with his grandmother's ring, and I just love how much it looks like a little flower. I can't wait for their wedding at the State Botanical Garden in Athens, Georgia in late May (which is just the perfect spot for these two).
