Sam & Sarah met in the parking lot of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Mableton, Georgia when Sarah came up to Sam after Mass asking if he was the owner of a missal she had found. They went to lunch with friends, got to talking and "never stopped hanging out since then". Sam proposed on the Feast of the Assumption, after early morning Mass and lunch at Chick-Fil-A. The two of them went to a chapel near Sam's parents house to pray a rosary together, and when they had finished, Sam pulled out a ring box and asked, "so, do you wanna get married?". These two lovebirds found contentment and comfort in each other, and constantly crack jokes together. When we shot their engagement session, I loved how these two brought deep love, humor, and a shared faith all into their relationship.

Sarah and Sam got married at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in mid May and it was just such a beautiful, intentional day. They were worried that the area around the church wasn't going to be very pretty for photos because it's mainly a large parking lot, but I worked some magic and I think their bridal and groom portraits turned out nicely.

These two were surrounded by loving family and friends, some of which had traveled from as far away as Alaska. They kept things straightforward and simple, with no wedding party and a dinner-only reception at the Mill Kitchen and Bar. Some of my favorite moments was Sarah's first look with her dad, their quiet first touch and prayer in the church sanctuary before the Mass, and the way their families basically adopted me as one of their own!

This was my first time capturing a Latin Mass wedding, and it was so cool to witness. They had the most beautiful music I've ever heard at their Mass, which brought me and some of the other guests to tears. I knew the importance of the rosary in their relationship, so we took some time to pray a decade during their couple's portraits after the ceremony.

All in all, it was just the best day. Many happy wishes to the new Mr. and Mrs. Robb!
