Melinda and Adam are absolutely precious together!! They met at a bible study, but Melinda didn't notice Adam until he sat himself right in front of her to get her attention. He proposed to Melinda at Disney (they're both "huge Disney nerds") when Adam "wanted to take a photo" - surprise, it wasn't just a photo! They told me that they both knew they wanted to get married right after they began dating, and knew they'd found their best friend for life in each other.

Their engagement session was at the Roswell Mill, where Adam initially asked Melinda to be his girlfriend. The weather was so foggy and humid for a December morning, but that didn't stop us! They were so easy to photograph and kept the session flowing with their chemistry. It had rained the day before, so the river was aggressively flowing, but Melinda, despite her proclamation that she did not feel adventurous yet, was willing to scramble down the muddy wet bank to get some AWESOME photos on the rocks near the waterfall - all while barefoot! I only shoot at sunrise at the Mill because of how crazy busy it can be, and it was totally worth it. We had the whole place to ourselves, which definitely helps when you're taking romantic photos together. I can't wait for their wedding next summer!
