Matt & Sydney met at the University of Georgia in Athens through mutual friends playing on intramural soccer teams. Their shared love of soccer brought them together despite their love for rival teams (Liverpool and Arsenal). Their first date was at The Royal Peasant in Athens to watch a soccer game and it was history from there. Sydney fell in love with Matt's sense of humor and charisma, and Matt found in Sydney an easy-going soulmate who "fell in love with me as quickly and deeply as I was for her", he said! Their idea of a perfect date is going to dinner at Taco Mac, filling up on hot wings, queso, and craft beer, then going to a concert for their of our favorite bands - Glass Animals or Tame Impala.
Their engagement session in Wynn Park in Atlanta was gorgeous, and Matt and Sydney are so easy to hang around! They kept each other laughing the entire time, and had no problem showing me how much they loved each other. I can't wait to capture their October wedding at The Atrium in Norcross!
