Mary and Will's winter wedding at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the Inn at Oak Lawn Farms was the sweetest, emotional day. They met working a summer job at a local grocer, and Mary made the first move by inviting Will to a 4th of July party! After, he asked her on a date and the rest was history. I was super excited to shoot their wedding since I'd photographed Mary's sister Laura's wedding earlier in the year at St. Benedict's, and I just loved her sweet family and their dynamic together. Also, Mary is just gorgeous, and her and Will were so trusting of my vision for their wedding day.

Their wedding was in mid December, and they happily embraced the seasonal theme in their decor, with evergreen sprigs, black tuxes, red berries, gold accents, and all the twinkly lights. The beautiful white house at the Inn was arrayed with Christmas decor that set the mood perfectly. Mary and Will attended the University of West Georgia, where they met Fr. Gaurav, who said their wedding Mass at his parish. Mary's parents surprised her by renting a classic car for their transportation, and her reaction was so cute! The couple also shared a beautiful and intimate first prayer moment outside the church, where many tears were shed (by me, too). Despite the cold, we had fun during the portrait time of the day!

The Inn at Oak Lawn Farms is such a pretty venue and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The outdoor patio area had some beautiful light and plenty of space for guests to mingle and dance. Their table numbers were all baby photos of the couple, numbers that corresponded with the ages of Mary and Will in the photos! I was a huge fan of their table decor - it looked beautiful but was simple and allowed for guests to converse while seeing each other. The sparkler exit at the end of the night was the perfect final touch. I am so grateful for the awesome couples that trust me with their wedding photos and precious memories. Congrats Mary and Will!
