This summer's weddings have been full of truly wonderful couples getting married, and Alex & Laura are no exception!! They got set up by Alex's cousin, who put Laura on the back of Alex's jet ski while they were both at the lake. Beautiful woman on jet ski with a handsome guy? The rest is history. They had their first date at Lake Lanier and knew it was meant to be.

Simple rustic elegance was the theme of their wedding day, with hints of eucalyptus, tuxedos, and pretty light green-blue bridesmaid dresses from Birdy Grey. Laura and Alex were most excited about their wedding Mass at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Duluth, GA, and prioritized spending time with those they loved. Laura's stunning dress is from J Andrews Bridal and Formal, and I am just IN LOVE with the beautiful full skirt and details!! Laura and her dad did a first look, which is becoming one of my favorite parts of the wedding day. Laura and Alex shared a first prayer together, instead of a first look. During their Catholic Mass ceremony, they incorporated the Flowers to Mary tradition, and also took a moment to hand one of the roses from the bouquet to each of their mothers as a thank you for the role their mothers played in their lives (yep, there were lots of tears). It was a late June summer day, and SO HOT outside, but these two lovebirds didn't let that stop them from being gorgeous in front of the camera - their couple's portraits are stunning and cinematic, and some of my favorite from this summer. They had their reception at Taylor Lodge, the event space on St. Benedict's campus and wrapped up the night with a fun bubble exit!

Congratulations to the wonderful Mr. & Mrs. Brenner!
