If you're gonna have your engagement session in the summer, doing it at sunrise is absolutely the way to go!! Erin and Khristian are currently attending medical school out in California, so during their trip in Georgia, we got up at sunrise to shoot their engagement session. It's pretty darn hot in Georgia during the summer and always humid, but the weather was pretty bearable and these two cuties looked amazing despite the early hour (and a 3 hour time difference!!).
This was our first time meeting, but Erin and KE were natural and relaxed in front of the camera from the start. The beautiful mountain scenery and blueness of dawn provided some beautiful light that complimented them perfectly. Erin's parents even popped by for a quick photo with the two of them and to help them finish their bottle of champagne! After an outfit change, we played around with the light (obsessed with these photos truly) and they jumped in the lake for a fun water fight. Erin & Khristian are deeply in love, but at the core of their relationship is a deep friendship, which I loved capturing. Khristian said it best when I asked him what his relationship meant to him: "It's really a unity of our souls journeying together to heaven".
I'm so excited for their wedding next year in Rome, Georgia!
