Christa & Tyrone!!! I love these people and getting to be a part of their wedding day was MAGICAL. These sweethearts met through their church and fell instantly head over heels for each other (You can read all about these two’s love story on my blog post from their engagement session back in May - it’s one you don’t want to miss!) I knew from the engagement session and meeting with Christa several times leading up to their wedding that this wedding day was going to be stunning and full of love and care. The bride and groom pour into the people they love wholeheartedly, and their gorgeous wedding reflected that love in every detail and added touch.

November is such a beautiful month to get married in Georgia!! The fall leaves typically linger into the middle of the month, and the chill in the air lends to beautiful fall textures, fabrics, colors, and things we all love about the cooler months. I’m a big fan of later fall/early winter weddings!!

The Venue at Twin Oaks was stunning for the big day - check out those fall colors!! Christa & Tyrone went for an “elegant meets rustic” feel with their wedding day theme, with plenty of roses, antique gold candles, sprays of greenery, Christa’s stunning long-sleeved romantic wedding dress from Impression Bridal, and the white taper candles decorating the ivory table runners.

Hints of the 80’s were sprinkled throughout the day, like with the bride’s classic 80’s cascading bouquet from The Bloom Studio and the bridal table at the reception with tributes to and items from past family weddings (check out that vintage dove cake topper!).

The groom handmade their guest book, a painted canvas with the words “Without You Our Tree Is Not Complete” and the little bell tower holding the bell engraved with the couple’s name and wedding date. The gorgeous acrylic signs and arrangements were all done by their wedding planner Lindsey Buffington with The Vow Collective. Also they had a Thanksgiving meal catered by Atlanta’s Finest Catering as their reception food with a pie bar and I promise you, it was the best reception food I’ve ever had in my life!!

The bride and groom did a foot washing ceremony for each other during their couple's portraits after their ceremony, a gesture of how they intend to serve and love each other in their marriage *cue the tears*. After sunset photos in the field, a little dancing, and a private last dance in the empty reception space for the bride and groom (more people should do this!!), they wrapped up their night with a sparkler exit. Honestly everything was just beautiful and I cried probably 3 or 4 times throughout the day. Check out all the beautiful details below:
