Ashley & Noah's story began in high school as friends, which grew into a beautiful relationship founded on their love for the Lord and the steady home they found in each other. There is a quiet joy and sense of comfort between these two, and Ashley told me that their relationship has showed her how to live and love better. Noah proposed at the beach near Ave Maria University in Florida on Valentine's Day, to a very surprised and happy Ashley during the sunset while dolphins jumping out of the waves (oh yes, this man KNOWS romance!!).
Noah and Ashley got married in December at St. Monica Catholic Church in Duluth, GA, the couple's childhood parish. This church is absolutely stunning!! They picked the feast of the Holy Family for their wedding date, a theme that had come up in Ashley's prayer while discerning marriage AND it happened to be the 5 year anniversary of their first date! The Lord is amazing with the details!!
We started the morning with some getting ready shots in one of the classrooms at St. Monica's. Ashley's details were stunning, and I loved the look of them framed on the black and white tile in the narthex of the church. She shared a sweet first look with her dad, while her sister and mom spied from afar, teary-eyed. Noah and Ashley also spent a few moments in prayer together before they got married, outside the adoration chapel at St. Monica's. Their wedding Mass was stunning, and the church was perfectly decorated for Christmas, something Ashley and Noah loved about their date! The little ring bearer with a wagon walker was just too cute!! In addition to flowers to Mary, they also brought lillies to St. Joseph, as a nod to their devotion to him.
After some couple and wedding party photos around the church, we headed to their reception at the Chair Factory in Gainesville. The guests had a blast - it was hard to keep them off the dance floor, thanks to Backwoodz Boyz Entertainment After dinner, the couple did a money dance for their honeymoon fund. It was a super fun night, and they wrapped it all up with the sweetest sparkler exit! Congratulations to the happy couple.
